- The app is licensed through the Mac App Store under Apple's standard terms.
- Your screenshots remain yours. Don't use share links for anything illegal or harmful.
- Apple bills Cloud; cancel anytime. Refunds go through Apple.
- Delete your links whenever you like.
1. The app
Preenshot is distributed through the Mac App Store and licensed to you under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement. These terms add to that agreement. The Pro upgrade is a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase.
2. Preenshot Cloud
Preenshot Cloud is an optional auto-renewing subscription, billed monthly by Apple, that lets you create share links. New subscribers may get a free trial; Apple shows the trial length and price before you confirm. The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel it in your App Store account settings.
3. Your content
You keep all rights to the images you share. To make a link work, you give us a limited license to store, copy and display the image to people who open the link. The license ends when you delete the image. You're responsible for what you share. Please check that you have the right to share it and that it doesn't reveal other people's private information without their consent.
4. Acceptable use
Don't use Preenshot Cloud to share content that is illegal, infringes someone else's rights, harasses or threatens people, exposes someone's private information, contains malware, or sexualizes minors. Don't try to overload, probe or circumvent limits on the service. We may remove content and disable links or access that break these rules, and we'll report illegal content where the law requires.
5. Limits and availability
Uploads are limited to PNG and JPEG images up to 10 MB, and we apply rate limits to prevent abuse. Links created without an active subscription expire after 30 days. We work to keep the service reliable but can't promise it will always be available or error-free. Keep your own copies of anything important.
6. Refunds
All purchases are processed by Apple. Request refunds at reportaproblem.apple.com.
7. Disclaimer and liability
Preenshot and Preenshot Cloud are provided “as is”. Automatic redaction helps you find sensitive information but may miss some, so review images before sharing. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability for Preenshot Cloud is limited to what you paid for it in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law.
8. Changes
We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we'll give notice on this page or in the app before it takes effect.
